After a run-in between three kinds of supernatural beings goes south, Dean finds Adam and intends to drag his punk ass back north.

Golden Gate Park, San Francisco

For some reason lately this park has been atracting a lot of supernatural baddies. One would think all those attacks would get to the general population, but no -- as if in stubborn refusal to believe in the supernatural, people continue to come to the park at night. Today had been an odd mixture: no less than three different types of paranormals had all attacked and ended up fighting each other. Adam had only been there for the last part of the fighting where he had thrown someone a stake to get rid of one of the popcorn style vampires. Now however he was in his element. He might still be finishing up highschool (online) but he had also taken all the first aid classes he could and learned everything his brother and just about anyone else could teach him. So he was currently helping bandage a vampire bite all the while convincing the person, that it was just some emo punk who had taken a bite out of him.

Dean didn't come out exactly ahead in the battle for most of it, but he definitely came out ahead of the thing overall simply due to surviving it. "That is not the kind of three-way I like," he mutters to himself, cleaning another of the many scrapes and cuts he received during the struggle. "Adam." He calls out, not very far away. He goes where the first aid kit is. "We need to have a word. Privately."

Adam Milligan blinks and hadn't even seen Dean there. He hadn't ridden in the Impala, and last that Dean had known Adam was at the road house. He blinks again and finishes bandaging the one guy, and on the way over hands another what looks like a cough drop, though knowing Adam it likely has something added to it. Finally he gets to Dean, "Yeah what's up need some patching up?" As if he's not a county or two away from where he's supposed to be, and on a school night.

"I wanna know where the hell you sprung from, kid." Dean points at Adam, wincing as he feels another cut he hasn't yet tended. He snarls and pulls up his shirt a little bit, exposing a cut just above the hip. With a sigh, he reaches for the first aid kit, for some disinfectant. There's blood caked all over it. "And I wanna know what the hell you were thinking, taking on that vamp alone...not to mention staking him. Cuz I'm gonna have to be the one that deals with any repercussions."

Adam Milligan was getting quite good at this. One look and he's already pulling out the sewing kit, even while he's taking the disinfectant out with the other hand. "Not too bad but you'll need a few stitches." He's thredding a needle, and you see he's got actual suture and disenfectant in here and not just whiskey. He also has an odd looking green salve ready. "I didn't stake the vamp, I threw someone else the stake. I was the distraction." He shrugs again and then starts actually sewing his brother up. "And I couldn't sleep so I started walking... And I ended up at this bar hustling someone who thought I'd be easy pickings... And then I ended up here." He tilts his head and says, "As far as I'm aware the only place you told me not to go alone was Beacon Hills. Cause you thought I'd end up a werechihuahua or something?"

"I don't need--" Dean starts, but then he just sighs and shakes his head. "Fine, fine." He knows better than to argue, especially since Adam will pull out his big emotional guns then and the elder Winchester absolutely can't stand up to those. Sam seems like the more sensitive one most of the time, but anyone that knows him is aware Dean is the big softie of the two. "Gimme somethin' to drink, I ain't gonna just stand here with you pullin' a Betsy Ross on me without a little take-the-edge-off. And don't nitpick. You ain't a lawyer and you don't want me to get Sam on your ass."

Adam Milligan pulls out a bottle of beer and some whiskey. Most big brothers, would probably have a cow. But Adam isn't stupid enough to drink it himself, cause Ellen, or Sam would kill him. And Dean would either fistbump him or kill him... or both. As he began to sew, you noticed he had pretty decent techinque, and the needle didn't seem to hurt as much as normal. And when he's finished he puts that salve on it, that has a soothing numbing sensation. "Tell me how this stuff works. I've been playing around with it some and the cut should be gone in a few days." He completely ignores the part about him being a lawyer, and not supposed to be here. He does say, "Um after we're done cleaning up here think you could give me a ride back? Otherwise I'll just crash at Angel's hotel or something."

Dean reaches for the whiskey. Beer isn't going to be powerful enough, and he's pretty sure Adam knows it. He'd have to be about a hundred pounds lighter to be too affected by a single beer. He pops open the top and just drinks straight from the bottle, smacking his lips with a refreshed sound. "Ahhh. Uh. Yeah, sure." He looks down at the wound. He's seen himself cut open and sewn shut enough times that it's practically boring to him. It's so everyday, almost literally.

"I am givin' you a ride back and you're gonna tell me on the way, in detail, how the hell you got your ass down here, and you are gonna listen to Dean Winchester's Reasons Why You Don't Sneak Around On Ellen." He points with the hand holding the bottle, then takes another swig of it. "I swear. You're gonna make me go grey. You and Sam are gonna make me go grey."

Adam Milligan isn't stupid. "I did not sneak around. I left her a note telling her i went for a walk. I mean if I'd PLANNED to go this far don't you think I'd have 'borrowed' a car?" He puts the bandage on that cut, which truthfully probably didn't NEED, stitches but Adam wanted to try out his technique and newest salve. He then goes over to see who else needs him. After all paramedics don't really know how to deal with most of this stuff. And sometimes all Adam does it flirt a little or be distracting and calm people down.

Dean points again -- points!! -- at Adam. "No. Nitpick. Lawyering." He's at least somewhat occupied by the whiskey. That takes the edge off Dean's personality and sharpness of tongue as much as it does the pain he has to endure when he's inevitably injured. "You know I'm a lot less hardcore than Ellen's gonna be, and you know she ain't gonna buy it either."

Adam Milligan grins, "I think she's used to it by now I just give her a call let her know where I'm at and give her the nearest adult type person to read the riot act to. I didn't tell her when i stayed at Angel's though. Trying to explain I was staying at a vampire's hotel... Well I'm not THAT smooth." He's still bouncing around probably putting 10 times the effort he did here than he had in the fight. And once the last of the combatants and civilians are gone he's mucking around the plants taking cutting or water samples, while talking. and often muttering to himself.

"She is not used to it, Adam. She is gonna give you the gift of a new asshole." Dean keeps up with Adam easily enough. He's become more used to how he bounces around and what he has to do whenever he's at anything like this. "Next time, you wanna roam, you get her to call me and I'll arrange something. What if something bad happened, Adam?" There's an uncommon tenderness in his tone, even if he's hiding it for the most part. Maybe it's the whiskey betraying him. "I couldn't take that. Nobody could. You know how that would tear Ellen apart? She already lost one of her men."

Adam Milligan pulls out his phone, points to Dean's number Sam's number, then Ellens, Bobby's, Castiel's, even Angels, and quite a few others. "Dean. I'm not like you and Sam, I'm not really a fighter. I'd rather patch people up than fight. But I'm still a hunter. And I know who to call if it looks like I'm in over my head." He grins some, "Besides. If I did what i was told you'd guys would think I was a changeling or not really related to you."

Dean frowns and puts the cap back on the whiskey, shoving it back at Adam. "Don't -- do not -- try to argue with me. If you wanna do something, if you gotta roam, you call me or get Ellen to call me. You got it, pipsqueak? We're going back. Now."

Adam Milligan rolls his eyes, "Okay mom." He says at his most sarcastic. But he packs up his stuff and throws his bag over his back and looks around for the Impala, "So do we really have to do this the whole ride back? Or can we just rock out to some classics? And when we get to the Roadhouse I'll tell Ellen you yelled at me the whole way?"

Dean turns to walk back to the car and stops at that question. He narrows his eyes, looking over his shoulder, and then turns back ahead and starts walking again. "It's Zeppelin all the way back. And you better tell her I started before we got in the car."

Adam Milligan just gives thumbs up and grins, "Wanna stop by and get some double bacon cheeseburgers on the way back? My treat?" He goes to his wallet, "Well actually some guy named Zed, who thought that a skinny kid in a unicorn T-shirt would be an easy win." He rolls his eyes again and throws his bag in the impala's trunk then climbs into the passenger seat.
