Rabbit has a vision, and comes to seek Faith out to share it. Angel's there too.

Hyperion Hotel San Francisco

The Hyperion Hotel[]

The lights are on, illuminating the area.

The California-Spanish building known as the Hyperion Hotel was built in the 20s. Through the cast iron gates from the sidewalk is a small front courtyard with a rectangular fountain and a mythological figure holding a bowl from which water flows. Greenery frames the walls and a large set of glass double doors open into a high ceilinged lobby. Dark red carpet descends the four steps to the lobby floor and climb the two sets of stairways that lead to the second floor. The green marble floors are accented with wavy red inserts, as are the walls have a complimentary red border running their length. A set of doors identical to those of the entrance lead to a small enclosed garden.

Cream-colored pillars line two sides of the room, holding up the second-floor balconies that look out onto the lobby and creating arches. Underneath one of them is a large plate glass window that looks into the hotel office - now used as the office and nerve center of Angel Investigations. Nearby, there's a wraparound counter with dark wood paneling and a top the same color as the floor. Behind it are filing cabinets and a pair of desks pushed together. A navy blue circular couch harkening back to a 50s design sits near the back of the lobby. A large wooden, glass-doored cabinet pushed up against the wall holds a large assortment of weapons.

Outside, it's foggy and cool.

After the Fae ball, everything has gone back to the mundane way the hotel normally looks. A 'back to normal' means a return to facing the problems of the world once more, only now, Angel's got more responsibilities then ever before to go with his new title. He's doing a bit of paperwork, signing things as needed.

Angel of Angel Investigations is not the reason that the teenage psychic enters the building. He has with him his messenger bag as always. He's wearing a pair of jeans and hooded sweatshirt, despite the warm weather outside. He scrunches his nose up as he makes his way inside. He is searching for someone. His senses are extended past his body as he attempts to try and find said person with his psychic powers. He waits in the entrance-way and he says, "Hello? Anyone here?"

And...coming in behind him is a highly irritated Slayer. Probably something to do with the fact that something has shredded her leather jacket, the one she's carrying. "Excuse me," she says from behind Rabbit.

Angel thinks he remembers this kid. Saw him at Caritas once, and his blood smelled...very oddly good. Angel's will shrugged it off, but still, he remembers that scent. "Welcome to Angel Investigations. How can we help you?" If that sounds canned and like something Cordy told him to say, it probably is.

Rabbit turns first in surprise as Faith pops in right after him. "Oh, it's you." His big eyes light up with excitement as he see's the dark haired slayer. He turns to look to Angel though. "I kind of came here to see Faith actually." He looks back towards her. "I um... I had a vision. And I really was looking for some advice. And to talk to someone about it. The whole interaction that I had..." Another pause. "It was intense. Oh... and I brought you something Faith." He fishes into his bag and he pulls out two vials of dark red liquid. Yeah he has blood for her. That's not creepy at all.

It's...par for the course. Faith tosses the ruined jacket to one side and then takes the vials. "What was your vision?"

Angel wrinkles his nose somewhat, he can SMELL that blood from way too far away. Angel's self discipline is more then equal to the task, and it's not as shocking as it was before, but still, it bothers him. So he waits for the vision report.

Rabbit looks at Faith mostly because she is the one he came for. "Well, that's where things get complicated. I am not certain that I should talk about it right now. Do you know how visions work? The visions of the futures are the worst of all. Because there are so many factors that can change how something happens in the future. I do not want to risk the alternative of my vision to come true." He pauses. "I have seen two possible futures. And one is by far worse than the other." He looks towards Angel and then back towards Faith. "Well, depending on who you ask." Yeah, typical psychic. Cryptic as ever.

"...so, what am I supposed to do with this? It would make good vampire bait," Faith muses. "I mean, other than get it away from Angel."

"I think that's the point. You set it like bait on a hook, and lure the enemy in, and take them all out at once." The Visions, on the other hand, he's just going to patiently wait for. He's in no hurry.

Rabbit nods his head. He says, "There are different types of vampires in this world. That blood will bring all sorts of species of them to you. As I have learned quite recently. If you put it up wind. They are drawn to it. You could take out quite a lot of them with that blood. And so you're doing me a favor. One less vampire trying to eat me. The better." He chews his lower lip. "The end of the world is once again coming. It started with the vision that I received when we first met. That vision was a warning. From a very powerful Fae. I thought she was going to harm me. But having met some more Fae, I have learned that she was actually trying to protect me. And of course now it is too late to be protected." He continues. "I imagine that the world ending or preventing the world from ending is just par from the course for you. Anyway. I haven't had visions like this, ever. It's not an every day world ending. It's something that is very likely to happen if something isn't done about it. And if the world ends. Well, I'll end. So it's in my best interest to finally stop being an observer and nudge people in the right direction."

Faith Lehane ahs. "So, it's a gift of sorts." Faith tucks the blood into a pocket, not that that will help poor Angel much. "I'll make good use of it. Now...another apocalypse? Must be...Tuesday."

"I'm mostly wondering if he's seeing Glory or something else." Angel pauses a moment, and adds, "I know what I am isn't especially trustworthy to you, but if it makes you feel any better, the Fae seem to approve of me." Not to mention all the Slayers he has around, most of whom are quite friendly! But that blood still bothers his nose, for all he is mostly ignoring it.

Rabbit scowls. "If it was an every day apocalypse. It wouldn't even ping on my radar. It's like Earthquakes. There are Earthquakes happening all the time. They are just not powerful enough that we never notice them. However, for this 'Earthquake' to register on my scale, it has to have a significant impact." He takes a deep breath. "The world is going to end soon and it's going to start in Beacon Hills. The god is going to unlock the gate and it will envelop the world in darkness." Rabbit pauses. "And my new friend. This young slayer. She protected me from the vampires. She is going to lose her life and unleash the world of darkness." And this is only the first part of his visions.

"Glory. We already know about this one, but give us anything you have." Which might help...anything to show how to send the hell god back to, well. Hell.

Angel waits for further info, "Go ahead..."

Rabbit just looks towards Faith and then he looks towards Angel. "Yeah, Glory is after this really nice girl Dawn. I do not envy her. I thought every vampire in the world wanted me dead. I couldn't imagine what it must be like to live her life. The pressure on her. If something happens to her, she could end the world. Who wants that sword hanging over their head." HE shakes his head. "That's the other vision. There is something that may prevent the apocalypse. It will require someone to make a huge sacrifice. Nothing big in the world can really happen without a sacrifice." He closes his eyes. He is haunted by the scenes of the vision. "I don't know if it is my place to talk about the resolution. And I am afraid that if I talk about it or change something. Then the vision will not come true and the world ending will happen. So I am torn."

Angel halfsmiles, "Dawn is under our protection. We're actually keeping her safe ourselves. She's the younger sister of someone very close to me. But...what sacrifice are you talking about? And...who's performing it? If there is a resolution, I can tell you that I, Faith, and Buffy have already gone in against Glory. We'll probably make another attack on her soon."

Rabbit takes a moment to register that information and he goes quiet. Something about the information he just received changed his entire demeanor. "It's up to the person who makes the sacrifice to decide. If I say one thing or another. It may risk the entire course of events from shifting." He pauses. "I need to gather more information before I can settle on a course of action. I have already gained a significant amount just from meeting here tonight. I think I need to somehow spend some more time here though. To see if I can get some more visions to be triggered. Dawn could use someone who has her best interest in mind. And someone who could use her protection. She is pretty useful in a fight. And I am a survivor. I'll do what I can to ensure my own personal survival."

Angel nods once. "I understand. Where do you live currently? Among other things, we also train people to fight. Because eventually, a vampire's going to sniff you when there isn't a warrior around. On that day, you'd better have a stake of your own handy."

Rabbit nods his head at Angel. "I am sure that you are right. I can defend myself but I should learn some better techniques for protecting myself. Maybe training with Dawn will help me get more visions that will nudge me in the right direction." He pauses. "I am staying with a friend. They are able to protect me better than anyone else. But I will take you up on your offer to help prepare and get me trained up. I am hoping that I will see more images of the big picture. It will help me make decisions in the future." He forces out half a smile. "Thanks for chatting Angel. I think things will be reveal themselves in due time. And then I can tell you if my choice was correct. But I will not tell you. They are very selfless for doing this. Especially if something happens. This will not be an easy choice to make and no one can say if this was the right course of action after all." He shifts his shoulder strap. "I should go see if I can track down Dawn."Thanks for your assistance Angel."

"Thank you for giving me a chance. I understand I'm not your favorite type of being...but perhaps, in my case, it's best to judge the company I keep then what I am, if you catch my drift. Yes, I can smell your blood a mile away like the rest of them, but..." Well, nobody who hurt people would have the kind of friends Angel has.
